2. Completed Interventions of Special Unfavourable Regions’ growth (E.G.T.P.E.)” the P.E.P. Peloponnese 2000 – 2006

The particular programs aim at the followings:

In the improvement of competitiveness of Greek agriculture, considering the challenges of a continuously increasing international competition
In the viable and completed countryside’s growth so that the competitiveness and her attractiveness are increased and so that its social and economic operation is restored
In the environment’s and the countryside’s natural resources maintenance and improvement
By means of the rural space’s growth completed programs, it was given the chance to enough private individuals to acquire new or additional sources of income materialising investments as: the agro-touristic lodgings’s creation, spaces of focus, small craft-based - manufacturing units etc. Important point of these programs, which should be reported, is that they strengthened the effort for the appointment of appreciable elements of rural architectural heritage (watermills, threshing floors etc) as well as the conduct of cultural events.
